RUN FOR YOUR WIFE

London cabbie John Smith has a wife in Wimbledon and a wife in Streatham, (they don't know about each other, of course).And his odd working hours let him keep it that way, until a bump on his head gets the police involved.
Enlisting the help of his upstairs slacker neighbor, Stanley Gardener, John heaps one lie upon another to get back on his very precise schedule. All appears to be falling into place until police officer, Detective Porterhouse, arrives investigating the case of two cab drivers named John Smith, Quick thinking Stanley exaggerates more lies to create a new John Smith.,.As the lies pile up and craziness develops, Stanley and John try valiantly to keep the nosy detectives busy; John's suspicious wives from running into each other; their sex lives straight; and all of their stories from falling apart. Run for Your Wife is a fast- paced, slapstick, laugh-a-minute romp that will leave you in stitches, and begging for more.

Peter Brooks one of The Salon's respected directors, directed a superb cast .some of The Salon's favorite faces, James Williamson, Lynn Halliday, Catrina Helsby, David Vincent, Dorothy Clarke, Barry Mitchell, and Francis Butler.

A great evening was had by all, and the magic sound of an audiences laughing was something special.
