A DOLL'S HOUSE

Ibsen came to The Salon and how proud that made us feel, that we could, with a most exceptional cast and Director add to the tributes marking the death of the world-class writer Henrik Ibsen. Henrik Hagensen directed this classic play, giving it a very modern feel, his set was dramatic and yet so simple, the lighting expressing the moods of Nora, played perfectly by Lynn Halliday. All the characters were spot on and convincing. The Salon does not often walk in the realms of the “Classic Plays”, But “A Dolls House” proved worthy of making them a regular feature, not necessarily that we need too, But, it has been proven that we can, and to great effect.
