THE ELVIS PRESLEY EXPERIENCE
with Johnny G.
The 25th of February is a date for your diary not to be missed as this fantastic tribute comes to the Salon Varietes Theatre for one night only. Johnny G. - a popular entertainer along on the Costa de Sol and perhaps better known to Salon audiences as John Gale - will take us on a journey back through the years of Elvis Presley's life and music. From his slick younger years of the 1950's with his gyrating hips, through Elvis’ movie years and the 1968 Comeback, to his Vegas days in the immortal white jumpsuit. Featuring all the great hits such as: "Jailhouse Rock", "Hound Dog" and "Blue Suede Shoes", as well as "Wooden Heart", "Return to Sender" and "GI Blues”. Johnny will also take you to ‘Viva’ the Las Vegas years with hits like "The Wonder of You", “American Trilogy” and “Suspicious Minds to name but a few. So 'if you're looking for trouble' then come on down - 'way down' - to the Salon Varietes on February 25th and let Johnny G. show you why Elvis really was the "King of Rock'n'Roll”.

Set Designer John PyneClarissa, the second wife of Henry Hailsham,-Brown, is adept in spinning tales of adventure for the delectation of their bored diplomatic circle, but when a murder takes place in her own drawing-room, she finds live drama much harder to cope with, especially as she suspects the murderer might be her young step-daughter Pippa. Moreover, Henry will shortly be arriving home with a VIP in tow who might take a dim view of bodies in the drawing- room. Clarissa’s fast talking only gets her and Pippa into some hair-raising experiences. However by the time Henry gets home, the murderer has been unmasked and all is normal, so normal that Henry is utterly unable to believe Clarissa when she explains exactly why there are no refreshments ready for their honoured guest.
